I am aware that not everyone is as nerdy as I am and therefore cannot fluently speak BBC.
I'm making a little how-to guide to help you out. NOTE: Some BBC does not work on this site, so this is a little trial and error for me figuring out what does and does not.
Okay, I wouldn't classify this as basics, but it's easy to explain and can be important on an RP site.
1. Find a picture you want to put on here.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
2. Right click the picture you want and hit save image as...
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
3. Name it whatever you want and save it wherever you want. Automatically, I believe it'll save in the Downloads folder for your computer, but I usually choose the Pictures folder.
4. Choose a picture sharing site to sign up free to. I suggest Photobucket. It's very easy.
5. Go to said site and hit upload.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
6. Click the Select Photos and Videos button and you shall be presented with a pop-up window of your saved pictures. Go to wherever you saved your picture and click it to open it.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
7. It'll load for a few seconds probably as it uploads and when it's done, click the albums button on the top toolbar.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
8. That shall proceed to take you to an album of all your uploaded pictures. Click the one you want to share and it will take you to a page like this.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
9. Go to the bottom right little box thing filled with code and copy the bottom one called IMG code.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
10. Paste that code in these boxes and it will appear to look like this.
[Only admins are allowed to see this image]
11. And you're done! It will appear as a picture when you post it.
Advanced: Basically, the brackets part [i m g] and [/ i m g] tell the site to put whatever is in between them as a picture. So if you want to skip this whole process of saving, uploading and whatnot, you could take the direct link to the picture and slap some brackets around it. This doesn't mean the website's address. Like when you click a google image and it takes you to an all white page with only the image in the upper left. That link. I'm not sure how well that will work all the time, so sometimes it's just easier saving the image on Photobucket.
